About Kenny Mooney
Kenny Mooney was born in Berlin in 1978. He is not German. He lives in Glasgow where he has just recently finished working for a large UK financial institution after nearly 10 years, the last 5 as a web developer. He continues to work on websites, as well as write fiction and beat up his guitars in an attempt to create something approaching what one may call music.
He has worked on websites for several bands, including Nottingham noise rock trio Fudge Tunnel, as well as some small businesses. He has primarily been a web developer, as opposed to a designer, but he has a certain design aesthetic that appeals to him, and he likes to play around with the new funky CSS3 thingies.
Kenny's fiction writing is generally pretty dark, surreal and twisted. This is largely due to his dark, surreal and twisted outlook on life. He also blames David Lynch, early Cure albums, insomnia, black coffee and James Joyce. He has a profile on the writing site ABCTales where occasionally he will test the waters with new pieces of work. He is unpublished, but trying to fix that.
It has been known for him to make music under the moniker of Novak, and has put out a few CDRs of material since 2006.
